Defaults for newly added wall items. Depth is the full plan depth; inset is measured from the room-side wall face into the wall. A 6″ depth with a 5¼″ inset projects ¾″ on both sides of a 4½″ wall.
A type can hang AND have drawers — check both. Fields grey out until their flag is on. A default W makes new sections arrive locked at it; Sizes (comma-separated) turns the width into a set-size picker. Saving applies to every designer.
How each section type prices its door-less Cabinet Vision carcass: catalog class and configuration, read from the price catalog's own rows — never from a type's name. Doors are priced separately by covered area and the maintained style table below. An unmapped type remains visibly needs-pricing. Zero-price marks a deliberate $0 type such as Open space.
Category groups the choices only. Rate and maximum leaf width/height belong to each style. Vertical splits are derived at space boundaries.
Shop-wide figures. Lengths take fractions (30 1/2). Changes apply to every designer on their next load.
The interior reads top → bottom as a stack of spaces: split a space in two, or fill one with shelves, drawers, a rod or shoe shelves. Edits stage here and change nothing until Apply; Cancel discards them.
